— Memphis tourism attractions reported no reported deaths in the first week of April, but the city still reported a spike in the number of people who died from coronavirus-related coronaviruses during that time.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that the number rose from about 2,700 deaths in April of last year to more than 3,500 by the end of April.
