Cuba will open its new tourist attraction in the next two years, Cuba’s Tourism Ministry said Thursday, in an attempt to make it easier for tourists to visit the Caribbean island nation.
The opening of the new tourist area is scheduled for September, after several months of planning.
The new area is intended to provide opportunities for tourists and offer more opportunities for visitors to enjoy the country’s beaches, attractions and shopping.
The area will include restaurants, shops, a movie theater and a cinema.
It will also include a hotel and a bar.
Tourism Minister José A. Castro said the plan is to make tourism more attractive and easier to access to the country, which has a population of over 11 million.
Cuba has been trying to attract tourists and foreign investment in recent years.
In 2016, it opened a new hotel, a new restaurant, and a new amusement park, as part of a broader effort to lure foreign investment and boost tourism.
In 2015, Cuba opened two new attractions, the Grand Hotel and the Grand Palace, which it said were part of its “cultural and cultural heritage” and the first of its new “cultural areas.”
